The Green Acres Program is Changing

Property owners enrolled in the Green Acres program now have until August 16 to withdraw their class 2b lands without paying back deferred taxes. Legislation signed into law by Governor Pawlenty on April 1st gives property owners more time to notify the county assessor about their ongoing enrolment in Green Acres. The deadline was previously May 1.
