The present day St. Mary's Catholic Church has stood in its current location at the corner of Ardwick-Ardmore and Annapolis Road since 1968.
The "Cathedral in the Pines" in Ardmore where area Catholics worshipped in the early 1940's.
Two officers' mess halls formed the basis for this building, used as the first St. Mary's Church, Landover Hills.
