If your vehicle has been towed at the direction of the Town of Landover Hills Police Department or Code Enforcement, you must obtain a vehicle release from the Town before picking-up the vehicle.
To obtain a vehicle release: The owner must come to the Landover Hills Police Department between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday. The owner must present the vehicles title that displays the owners name printed on the front of the title or a receipt from MVA that shows you applied for a new title. You must show your driver's license or photo identification and pay a $50.00 administrative fee in cash or money order.
To obtain a vehicle release during the weekend, call 301-352-1200 and ask for a Landover Hills Police Officer to respond to the station for a vehicle release. No signed-over titles will be accepted.
